It's been a crazy and busy beginning of the year..thankfully. I'm SO happy to finally Blog once again...phewww.
When I found out I would be photographing little Alexis I knew it would be a pretty sweet shoot! She was described to me as having a huge personality, a mind of her own, and very energetic. When I met her, her beautiful personality poured out of her. Dressed in the CUTEST attire (which she picked out herslef) I knew she would just rock her shoot! She was a little shy at first but before we knew it, she was posing and seemed like a pro...very photogenic. ☺
We were laughing and just having a blast the whole time. She loves to cheer and dance so of course I had to capture the passion she has for the things she loves in life too. Had fun with you Alexis, you were so awesome, beautiful, and sweet! ☺ Check out some of the cutest shots below....love em all!
It was a very chilly day when we had this shoot. I was so excited to photograph such a down to earth family. I must add, I love families that have lots of bambinos. I think it's so stinking cute when there are little kids and all the boys look like their dad and the little girls like their mom. I think that is priceless right there...I've always wanted a big family myself. I just think it is beautiful...
During the shoot precious little Ayva, the youngest wasn't having it after a few of the shots but we managed to keep the family all smiles! ☺ They STILL took some amazing shots and at the end little Ava joined in, Yay...lol! Marc and Rachel, you guys are such an awesome couple and wonderful parents! The kids are ohhhh sooooo adorable!
This family was such a pleasure...I had so much fun with you guys (Marc, Rachel, Marc Jr, Ulyssa, Lexy, and Ayva) Your family is one of a kind and I am so happy for you guys! Hope you enjoy a few of the images from the Torres' shoot.☺
Well first off I would like to say Happy New Year! I hope you had an amazing New Year with those who matter the most. I had a wonderful time celebrating it with the people I love. ☺
That being said. I'm super excited to start the FIRST Blog of 2012! Yeaaaaa! Sandy Cervantes Photography is in complete transformation as we speak with a newly updated website, new Gear (Woohooo) and of course the best part that makes SCP a great success, the new portraits I've been working on daily! I'm truly blessed and so happy to be able to share in the making of so many special memories to come with you all.... Anywho, I would just love to say THANK YOU for making 2011 a special year for SCP and like we always say...many more to come!!! ☺ Yeeehaaww to many more blogs.

The Licona family are such beautiful, great people. They're a family of 5 with 2 beautiful teen daughters and the cutest little boy named Zach. Walter and Patricia (Dad & Mom) are so proud of their precious family and the most awesome thing about the Licona's is...they LOVE GOD!
Musically inclined, crafty in ways you can't even imagine...they are a cute bunch with HUGE talent pouring out of each one of them! Oh and if you ever need someone to decorate your Wedding, XV, special event, etc...Patricia is your lady. She is extremely creative. I just adore her work. ☺ They're pretty good tricksters too! Have tricked me more than once! Haha...they aren't afraid to laugh or be goofy either and that is AWESOME!

First I would like to say Congrats to Stevie! Your hard work, time, patience, and so much more has paid off! Stevie graduated from the University of Houston at Clear Lake with Honors (woohooo) a few weeks ago. So happy for her! ☺
I was so excited when she asked me to be a part of one of her special moments...her Graduation Portraits! She wanted to shoot on location at the University which I was so excited about! Once at the University, we got started and I had a blast! There were even DEER prancing around us..no lie! Her awesome fiance Juan even joined in to support his gals achievements!
Now I think between Stevie, Juan, and me, one thing that will really stick out about that day was how COLD it was outside! LOL. It was about 40 something degrees and we were....you guessed it, FREEZING! Juan was such a great supporter though and kept reminding Stevie to imagine it was 90 degrees hot. LOL, it worked...her images came out amazing...the cold couldn't stop us and Stevie looking amazing in her gown that day!
I hope you enjoy a few images of her Grad shoot and again Stevie...congrats!! I pray God's blessings on you, those who surround you, and your future. I know your mom is looking down on you very PROUD of your great acheivements!

I enjoyed my time with Pedro, Nena, and little Diego while we hung out and of course took their family portraits. Nena and Pedro are such a strong couple who aren't afraid to crack jokes and the best part is they love God!
They have done such an awesome job raising Diego to be such a sweet and funny little boy too. For this family of three, they have been blessed beyond measure and are such wonderful company. Had a GREAT time with you guys!!!

You may remember this sweet "widdle" baby girl from her newborn shoot a few weeks back. Daviana was only a few days old but now she has changed little by little as the days go by. She has such a rocking sense of style too! (Thanks to her momma Ana and her papa David!) ☺

Little Miss Natalie is just a Doll! She is such a sweet and precious little girl that really brings joy to those in her life, including me! She is my cutie of a pie neice and goodness do I adore those beautiful big eyes of hers!

Burrr! Its been crazy-cold here on the island but it really does make us say that the Winter Season is finally here! While the Christmas season is really the "Most wonderful time of the year!" don't forget the real reasons we celebrate it.
